I heard a lot of people talking about assassins produced from fully upgraded province of syria. Sounded pretty damn tempting so i tried it out. Yet they still come out as rookie as ever with no stars... I'm playing as the Polish for one thing and start in Early time period. I also do not have any expansions installed and the version i'm playing in is 1.1
Does anyone know what i'm doing wrong? Do i need to be a certain faction? certain religion? play a different era? or do need to have the viking invasion installed for it to change?
any help would be appreciated. thanks

You need VI for the syrian assassin bonus to work.

Only works if your playing with VI... Assassins in Syria get +2 stars.
Add in the extra buildings (which can give up to +3 valor), and you get 5 star killers rolling out on command.

ive been wondering..is it possible to get a 10 star assasin?
i mean if your english..and SOMEHOW get to syria then somehow upgrade all the necessary buildings..then train guy of gisbourne (or whatever his name is). would he be a 10 star assasin?
