Changing the Event dates

When you change the era dates, say early = 100, high = 400, and Late = 800, does the inventions and such follow accordingly? Or do i still have to wait til 1205 to get grandinquistors? If so, anyway to change those set dates or are they hardcoded?

There is a difference between unit apparition & events.

Unit apparition is linked to eras. i.e. if high arrives in 987, grand inquisitors are available in 987.

But events as gunpowder do not move. So, no powder buildings before 1260.....

This is all true, but whether a building needs certain invention to be build, is specified in build_prod files, and thus can be deleted giving access to such a building earlier.
