Is there a way to make smoke stay around longer

Is there anyone to make it so that smoke stays on the battlefield longer? I am playing NTW and I want the smoke from the muskets to float around for a while, give it a cool look and whatnot

I dont even have NTW but i have a suggestion: If you try to change things in source files of images or see if you can do it in gnome editor, i think it will work.

i you figure it out, post it somewhere (dungeon maybe) i think that would be really cool to have clouds of smoke floating around the battlefield. a lot more reallilistic too.
