Like I promised, an official announcement about the future of Centurion : Total War. What I'm about to announce may be, to some, a good thing and to others they may feel disappointed but to me I feel it is the logical step forward that can firstly get my first ever MOD into the community and secondly make for a more enjoyable gaming experience.
CTW or not CTW?
Lets face it, CTW was doomed the first time I got the idea in my head, its scope was way to large for one person to handle and inevitably it failed. That is why CTW is dead but a new boy is in town.
Roman Conquests : Total War
This is the new name and face of Centurion, no longer is it one huge campaign but a collection of smaller ones focusing on different conquests by the Roman Empire and with it brings one very sweet advantage to me. I will be releasing the Roman Britain version first, this is easy enough to do because I am supplied with a map for this, but here comes the great part, it is up to the community whether the MOD progresses any further than this. Basically I cannot make new maps, infact I can't get LMM to work to even try to so in that respect I am toast, but, if the COMMUNITY want to see the MOD progress and a map makers steps in we are able to continue onto another Roman Conquest, the Punic War perhaps? Maybe Germania? The possibilites are there if the help I need turns up after Roman Britain is released, essentially, this MOD will only be a Roman Britain MOD unless somebody decides to help.
I am sorry this is short but I've had to rush on to type this, more information will come later when I get home.
