Hi, I was wondering if there is a mod that makes the vikings a lot more ferocious When the AI uses the vikings i rarely ever see them... they should be conquering england? I hope someone has fixed this to make them more of a challenge. I realise its probably to do with the lack of money but the AI should know that continous raiding and pillaging is the only option.
I totally agree and that´s one of the main reasons that we started the work on a new mod: Fury of the Northmen mod, see the Dungeon for more details. The other reason was to try and portray the viking era in the best way possible that the TW-engine allows.Quote:

i am sure there was a mod, not sure where it went or what it was called,
but i do remember the changes made to the setup
- if i ever get over the pain i just went thorugh re-installing and re-re-installing and THEN re-re-re-installing XP on this rig i'll go in and make a quickie mod for you...

Beefy Vikings Campaign
gave them decent buildings at start and a few extra ships,
no extra troops,
they should be more of a nuisance now,
no readme file in archive,
simply drop this into the following folder
...\Medieval\campmap\startpos\..

Thanks barocca, what an awsome little mod that is Had the most fun and chalenging game of VI i have ever had with your mod. The vikings are now much more annoying, constantly raiding my coastal provinces
Anyway thanks again just what I was looking for.
