Warlords: Ancient, Celtic and Medieval
Blind King & Auxilia, you guys are my heroes. I love the titles each of you has chosen and I know that my collection will end up just as large some day. With any collection though, it will be an ongoing project. Right now I only possess 5 titles.
1)Viking Hersir, 2)The Vikings, 3)Samurai, 4)Early Samurai and the 5)Late Period Samurai book by Stephen Turnbull ( I forget the title). http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cg...ns/biggrin.gif
I am also in agreement with 2 things that I read in this thread.
1) Anything illustrated by Angus Mc Bride is worth buying--Definetly..
2) Anything written by Stephen Turnbull on the Samurai is worth having , especially if you are into the Samurai.. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cg...hogunshame.gif
I have plans to add about 12 books to my collection by the end of the summer. Mostly it will be Ancient or Medieval era stuff with a smattering of Samurai. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cg...icons/wave.gif
Edit 9/8/04 Just added a compilation book by the team of Angus McBride & Tim Newark. Warlords: Ancient, Celtic and Medieval. First rate artistry through and through and Tim Newark is an amazing writer. Seems these 3 books were originally released separately but I am glad I got the 3 in 1 deal. All that great artwork in one book!!!
