Hello Everyone,
Since I've enjoyed MTW so much, decided to try out STW. Hence, after my first day of playing, I have some questions to the Shogun experts here.
1. Is the F1 battlefield screen different from MTW? I see that my unit attack stats only reflect the bonuses from province-building-related improvements (+ attack) but does not display neither the original stats nor general's bonus, nor honor related bonuses... i.e., my yari samuray and warrior monks show the same attack stat of 0... in the STW F1 screen(unless I've built attack enhancing buildings in the province). And it seems, general's stars and unit honor has no effect on the attack stat displayed). Hmm, I'm confused... Is really the attack value of my freshly recruited kensai only 0???
2. Is there any rank bonus for spear infantry in STW? From observing the units: it seems, there is none.
3. Missiles in the woods: in MTW, archers seem to be useless in the woods (shooting into the woods or shooting out from the thick of the forest) - in STW, they appear to be as efficient when shooting from among trees as if they were standing in an open field.

1. I do know that the f1 shows incorrect values in MI. It shows attack and defense improvements as +1 for every other honor point instead of +1 to each for each honor point.
2. No rank bonus.
3. They are almost as efficient when shooting from trees, not quite as efficient as from open ground though.

I found out that my display issue was due to the unpatched nature of my installation. The patched solved the issue: stats appear correctly now.
