MP is what makes that Game... it is great fun. SP is nothing compared to having a massive online game with over 20 players per team.

i like nod WAY better than gdi they get better stuff in my opinion and look cooler.

i hear EA made Westwood abandon this game before it was finished; leaving it chock-full of bugs that wreck gameplay, just like they did to Westwood's previous game, Emperor: Battle for Dune.

i always liked Westwood but hated EA, EA who of course proceeded to murder Westwood Studios shortly after Renegade was released.

i've been boycotting EA ever since they screwed over Emperor: Battle for Dune players and hence i've never played Renegade but i have heard a lot about all the bugs that weren't corrected in Renegade.

Westwood was far too good for EA. too bad they ever let EA acquire them. if they didn't then Renegade woulda been even better (not rushed out the door) and by now we might even had a Renegade 2 and Renegade 3.

I have fond memories of Emperor: Battle for Dune. That is a series that I would have liked to have seen pursued.

i have yet to find bugs i just got mine like 3 months ago. this might be one in multi pratice you can take a buggy and an apc and push the apc with the buggy in to gdi base and it wont shoot you until you are out of the buggy.

Some of the bugs are real funny.

For one thing you can access some Access Terminals from Outside of a building by running up to the right wall section

(I once chased a grenadier down behind the GDI barracks and he ran up to the middle section directly in the middle of the rear wall and turned into a different soldier)

Previously the Unstoppable beacon bug was used often (before it was patched) where players could jump on top of the purchase terminals and deploy a Nuke/Ion beacon, it would then be stuck between the purchase Terminal and the building wall and couldn't be disarmed by engineers...

Those are some funny bugs.

What is your most hilarious experience playing that in MP?

Mine was when I was assaulting the NOD base with my teammates and after losing my vehicle and then my remote C4 (blowing enemies up), I ran into the Hand of Nod (which was under heavy GDI Tank fire) and placed my block of Timed C4 on some Black technician's Head... after running out and being killed, I respawned back at the GDI base when suddenly a massive flood of BOOIIINKs came over my speakers.

That single block of C4 took out 7 Players at once http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/eek.gif
(Maybe the NOD Team was having a group hug or something)

i never had any funny things happen yet i am pretty new to mp. do they have clans and clan wars. and whats a one that will take worthless MP newbs like me

They do have clans, but as I understand it things grew quite quiet online compared to what they used to.

This is mainly due to a large number of servers now using Renguard and other anti-hack software.

I normally frequent the ERA clan Servers. They tend to be ok.

in Mp do you like NOD or GDI.

I prefer NOD, but I am happy to fight as GDI.

NOD has more scope for fun and trickery with its Stanks and Stealth Black hands...

what do you think of single player. i cant stand it all when i try to play it the charactors are especially annoying for some reason.
