Some time ago there was an idea about smaller game maps that you would need to conquer to proceed to the big picture map (for example a 'greece map' a 'gaul' map etc). Couldnt that be it? I was saddened that Macedon wasn't playable, but I guess the Selucids make up for that with their cracking unit roster...
There will probably be a way to mod that

Wow, they have Thrace as a non player faction..
The North of Greek looks to be nonplayer heavy with Thrace, Dacia, Macedon and Scythia.
I smell an expansion strategy here. Lets hope the non-playability will indeed be modable and not hardcoded in some way.Quote:

Look on the second page. It says something like factions are playable after they have been defeated in the Imperial Campaign. That makes me think its only in the main campaign that they actually get unlocked in their entirety. The other thing could possibly just be Historic Campaigns, like the ones we already have in MTW.
