do to tons of ppl asking for a 1v1 tourny we have changed the invictus to a 1v1 tourny and as welll have changed a few other rules....plz read carefully
Invictus
Basic Facts
Invictusis a 1v1 elimination style tournament.
There are no rules as to who can enter.
This is not a clan based tournament
players will play each other, the winning team advancing to the next round.
Once the winning player has been declared they will automatically advance to the final round in the next tournament.
These tournaments will last throughout the Total War series.
Each winner will receive a special medal and logo, compliments of Pyrit, to display on their sites, or to admire whenever they like.
Moderators
Moderators for the tournament will be elected by the community; if enough people yell enough for someone then that person is guaranteed a spot as a moderator.
However, moderators cannot participate in the tourney, and if they are
caught cheating or helping friends participating in the tourney in any way
whatsoever they will be banned from the tournaments indefinitely
Game settings
All the games will be played on a steppes inland map-randomly selected by the mods.
All games will be played on arid.
All games will be played in a randomly selected season -- chosen by the mods.
The moderators will randomly select 4 factions for the two players, each
receiving the same faction choices.
The players can decide which of the 4 factions to use
All games will be either: 10k, 11k, or 12k -randomly selected by the mods.
There will be three matches to decide which player advances.
If 1 team wins the first two games, a third will not be played.
Each game will have randomly reselected settings- as stated above- the three games will not be played on the same settings.
Courteousy
It is permitted to cuss in an Invictus match - this is simply so we do not get hundreds of screenshots form sore losers who want rematches because 1 of the opponents said a cuss word.
However, excessive usage of foul language will not be permitted and the
offenders will not be permited to play in the next invictus tournament. However he will be allowed to finish the one he is currently in.(however every rule has its exceptions and if the amdin feels sumone is overly abusive he will be banned from the tournaments and kicked out of the one he is in at the moment) Deciding on whether to kick someone from the tournament is up to the admins only.
Under no circumstance can a player cornercamp or edgecamp.
The armies can have no more than 4 of one unit.
There will be no peasant withdrawals.
Any breaking of these rules will result in disqualification.
Brackets
We will assign each player a number then ask a third party source to create brackets. However, instead of having names on it, it will have numbers. Each player will take the spot of the number he/she was given. This is to avoid any suspicion that the admins chose the brackets to favour certain players.
