anyone tried moving over the ships from viking time period to the medieval ones?
i've moved Jomsvikings and trade goods before
just thought i'd ask and if its the same, or is there anything extra that needs to be copied and pasted somewhere else

I can successfully mod to get any unit or ship I want from Viking to Medevil (using Gnome Editor) but how do you get trade goods transfered???

ok kali and kagetora...this is what i know
in those loc/eng folders...
try copying the 8 trade goods in question from VIKING_REGION_SPECIFIC...then paste in appropriate place in DEFAULT_REGION SPECIFIC (which will deal with the early,high,late periods...as u will see where those trade goods are named in the file, the ones from the viking era are left out)
then go to the declare trade goods line in campmap VIKING.txt...
copy them and paste in all 3 of the other time periods .txt files...
then in textures/campmap/vikings/goods...copy their images, then paste them in textures/campmap/goods
and this shall do it,
so with all that and 50cents, u should be able to make a telephone call from any payphone...
and u should have that whalebone and antlerwork and what not stuff available as trade goods in all time periods
not to mention, MEAD!!! yum ~:cheers:

so, still wondering about adding snekkjas, drakkars, jarnbardi or what not things(viking ships) to say the danish or novgorod/russians or both, or just to the regions
involving the early high late periods...
havent tried yet, dont think it will be hard, well, hope i helped out, ~:cheers:

oh blah, drank too much of the mead apparently, so do let me know if i was too vague with which file is where or what not, i'll add in the where is where in detail if need be, but anyways, that's how trade good stuff is done, :knight:
