A mod idea for future Total war games.

Well, since alot of us are kinda pissed about how long it has taken for ROME to come out, I was thinking, maybe in future totalwar games, CA could make it so that the new game would use old code from other games that people own. I'm not saying that they program so that the enitre CD uses new and old code, I'm saying that the CD come with only some new code and use some of the old code already on you computer from old totalwar games. If you dont have any, than you just go out and buy a "Fully Loaded" version of the game. I'm not very good with computers so could any computer wiz's tell me if this could work.
