What is gmail?

google mail.

basically, you have an inbox of 1000mb, no limit on attachments (send/receive), google search engine to find the mail you are looking for, mails are in conversations and a lot more nifty stuff. It is in beta, that is why you need invites to the mail, and a lot of stuff are being added.

or at least point us somewhere on the web.
I mean real features, not marketing with snoring declarations.
I'm just curious, really.
because yahoo is offering similar stuff (for a few months now), and i still don't exactly know what the differences between the two are...

nah, relax. I'm a lazy typer myself.
I guess what I was really curious about was differences between it and Yahoo (besides the obvious ones, such as being able to use the Google engine to search through your emails).
Of course, you realize, this is another proof of my laziness: the proper way to compare them would be to wait until they're publicly available (or I get one somehow), and do it myself. But that would necessitate an effort on my side, wouldn't it ?
And besides, I was curious now ~:)

But seriously, it's okay. There's no hurry, and it's only a matter of curiosity for me; no need to advance your carpal tunnel syndrome over it ~:cheers:

I've got no idea what yahoo mail is anyway, so I wouldn't know how to compare them ~D
