Demo Two Bugs (STW 1.0 and MTW 1.0)
Are there two hangover bugs from the orginal builds of STW and MTW hanging on to the demo?
STW 1.0 Generals Leading the Charge.
Are the generals in the demo and its mod as suicidal as STW 1.0?
MTW 1.0 Charge Combat Cycles pseudo-infinite.
Are the charges having multiple combat cycles to the point that they are well turbo-charged ~:joker:... as per MTW 1.0 before the patch.

These two kinds of bugs would have major consequences and explainations on game play.
So has anyone strung out the cavalry in long lines and charged them together against the Romans?

I remember reading someone tried to do the swipe, but it didn't work.

Haven't tried the 2nd part, but I did have to get rid of cavalry general's units for play testing. The AI would charge it straight into the nearest phalanx. Now I attach the general to a heavy unit with good defence. This gets the AI to hold back and let others engage before bringing the general into melee. Don't know if this is just a feature of the demo or not. Scripting was supposedly gone, so that should not have caused the "Charge of the Light Brigade."
I've seen a few rave about the way the Roman units are arranged in traditional structure in the demo. However, the movement is scripted in the demo, so I don't think it tells us whether the Roman units can be handled in traditional style. The group formations could be really interesting in that regard. We will just have to wait and see since the Roman field army was not meant to be playable in the demo.
