I noticed that as well...seems to contradict the 8 players (over LAN/internet) noted almost everywhere else.
Am praying those are typos and misinformed journalist

It must be a typo.... the site hasn't been updated in a while btw..
Check out the flash file that comes with the demo. It says 8 on internet or LAN.
