Fix for Broken STW Historical Battles

I found this info following some links in the Entrance Hall. I have not tried it yet. There are some historical scenarios in STW/MI that were broken by the 1.02 patch--apparently as part of a fix for reinforcement bugs in the main game. This should fix them.

To make the battle work, go into C:\Program Files\Total War\Shogun - Total War\Battle\batinit\Historical Campaigns\Oda Nobunaga 1534\Nagashino

and open the Takeda Katsuyori file. There are 21 units in there and you need to fix 12 of them. All you need to do is delete the text that says:

Reinforcements::0
DelayTillEngagement::true

Then the battle works :)

I believe what happened was that in 1.02 they changed the way reinforcements work...and this messed up the historical battles, kakegawa has a fix similar to thise one and the last mongol battle as well.

Just recently came to my attention that many people don't know that it is possible to play as either side in the Historical battles and campaigns. It is quite simple, all you have to do is switch the ARTIFICIAL and LOCAL parts of the battle description, which you can find in your Shogun folder. :)
