So far I've achieved TD with Almohads, Byzantines, Aragonese, Danes and Egyptians starting from Early. I didn't really blitz but I didn't turtle either. So the results are:

Always end in late, I originally wanted to tech up (as catholics) and also let my enemies tech up, but unfortunately the computer doesn't disband all the outdated units they have and I end up fighting urban militia or FMAA in late. Anyone know how to get the cpomuter to build better men?
