Can't junior patrons edit their posts?
Anyway, forgot to translate all the different categories and even made a horrible spelling mistake. Here they are again:

No, no edits until Senior Patron. Thanks for posting this -- any online references you can point at that we can read? Sounds like a splendid review.

Unless you speak danish fluently you will not read this review ~;)
Thanks for the good news though. Not that I worried a lot about RTW before ~:)
Re: First (?) review of Rome: Total War
Some of us would like the link anyways... ~;)

Yes, there are Danes here and of those who aren't, some of us can stumble through with the occasional word lookup... if it's not available online then that's ok.
Re: First (?) review of Rome: Total War
I feel a bit silly....but what does TILT mean?...i know gameplay means how long it will last but im not sure about TILT or is TILT how long a game lasts?
Boot :dizzy2:
Re: First (?) review of Rome: Total War
Tilt is just the reviewers own oppinion, that unquantifiable "sumfink" that some games have and some don't.

Tilt is the reviewer’s personal opinion of the game.
Just read the review. It's 6 pages long, but most of the information we already know. There was one thing, however, that really caught my attention: troop loyalty. Playing as the Julii faction, they had been on a 20-year-long campaign against the Barbarians. While the faction leader was fighting Germans, his heir had to take care of all the financials back home. So when all of a sudden the faction leader died of old age in the middle of enemy land, half of his troops choose to become mercenaries rather than serving the heir that had spend his life in luxury. They didn't have any particular loyalty towards him, as he had never proven himself in battle.
I also liked what I read about the new Virtue system. Apparently they will have an effect on the general’s speech at the start of each battle. If he’s a coward, he will for instance tell the troops that he will not participate directly in the battle, but only watch from a distance. Like in Medieval, killing a lot of prisoners and chasing down routing enemies will grant the general murderous tendencies, which will make for some very interesting speeches ;)

Wow I hadn't even heard about this, sure this game will be surprising with all the new stuff. It will make the next 7 days even more unbearable :wall:

I really like the sounds of this ~D
Pc Gamer US also had a review and gave it 92%, and seeing how they gave MTW an 82%, I wonder just how good RTW will be over MTW (hardcore gameplay i'm talking about, not just the flashy eyecandy but dont get me wrong, I love the eye candy ~;))
