To the one doubting the age-bug in Medieval: in the second screenshot of this review, there is a 73 year old general (with A LOT of command). Haven't read any further yet, just wanted to share it ~;)
Hmmm.... check this out...
Should make a few people happy, including me. Well, at least I'm a little more at ease now.Quote:
if you played the Rome demo and were disappointed, fear not – the game is much tougher than the demo and battles last longer. In fact, the speed depends much on the activity of the participants.
"Battles are significantly faster than in Medieval"
Is that supposed to make me happy? Am I supposed to be happy that units run unrealistically fast, and I don't have time to control all of my units? Clicking faster is the answer? I already click as fast as I can.
This was an excellent review!
Cool thing - battles are marked on the map for posterity w/ some limited stats;

(look at the tool-tip)
Not so cool thing - this "unit" is just so stupid;

Question = is there a manual??? I think all reviews so far were based on an advanced copy and not the final box - so who knows?
Barkhorn.

On some of the screens I recognized barbarian(german) phalanxes!? ~:eek:
That's too f***ing cool. Really adds something to the atmosphere of the game.Quote:
