Roads don't help trade?

Just did a test and adding base level roads did nothing to my ground trade.

174 with, and 174 without.

Also, when you add the road to the queue, you can mouse over the trade area, and there's no ghosted out trade icon as there normally is when a building gives some bonus.

I thought for sure I saw an increase after building roads in my port settlement.

I saw somewhere on the forums that roads should give u an increased movement rate.

That they do, dont know about trade though..perhaps caravans move quicker or something heh

look at it again when you improve to 'paved roads'. i dont know that it will help, but it might.

It takes time to build up trade and they probably made it for a delay factor plus trade is also a bit dependant on town size

doubt it. i think they just don't affect trade.
