I have very often seen some tooltips on the campaign screen refering to rally points and do you want to set one. What are they and how do they work?
I had my navy lose a battle in Carthage and they all rowed away in a panic ("Row for your lives") in the "wrong" direction. ~:eek:
It would be nice if they rowed towards home. ~D
I've wondered about the rally points aswell, as they always seem to be next to some knid of resource. What use are they and when should you use them?
Rally points are a standard RTS concept. A rally point is a location where all newly created units automatically go.
It's basically a way to reduce micromanagement -- instead of manually telling each unit you've created in your core cities to go to the frontier you can set up a rally point and not bother with the logistics...
