spying on family member armies: RTW?
if you drop a spy on an army led by a captain, your agent will (if successful) reveal details about the army's composition. nonetheless, if you drop a spy on an army lead by a family member: only the member's parchment will be displayed - no details about the army composition. is that a feature or a bug? i know, his parchment is kinda interesting, but what i do really care about is whether his army is not full of warlord cavalry units.

I wondered this as well. You can still view the details for his bodyguard unit but I would like to view the army details as well.
Re: spying on family member armies: RTW?
Just close the parchment and double left click on the enemy army that you have your spy in (on the world map). You'll see the full army details.
Re: spying on family member armies: RTW?
hmm, will double check that: i thought, spies do not join enemy armies... and i'm preety sure, mine stayed visible on the map after spying on enemy family member units.
Re: spying on family member armies: RTW?
You're right, your spy will be next to the army, not in it. Still, the double-click function will work...
Re: spying on family member armies: RTW?
I really sure it does. You have to close the faction leader's parchment. Then you can double (left) click on the enemy stack and it will show the army composition. I distinctly remember thinking that was a problem, then coming back and seeing the entire army.
Re: spying on family member armies: RTW?
yes, closing the parchment and double clicking the army in questions does appear to solve the problem. thanks! :)
Re: spying on family member armies: RTW?
if only i knew that before i attacked that stack of gallic heir's army: it had 4 units of warlord cavalry in it... :help: they routed my hastati in no time no hard/hard. :furious3:
