What happens to units?

In my Julii campaign i've conquered one of the greek cities (can't remember what its called, its the one below apollina). When i go into negotiations with the greeks and demand money for not attacking them they counter with offering me 1400+ denararii (i could really do with the money).

Would my units be placed outside the city or would the greeks get my units?

This is just a guess, but I bet it would work like a bribe: The city and everything in it. The units might be disbanded rather than go to the Greeks in that case.

No your troops wil be placed outside, this happened when my Julli saved up enough to buy Athens off the macedonians (i couldn't get an army thruough, their navy was WAAAY too big) and their army was placed outside it.
