medieval total war with viking invasion crash to desktop at end year

:help: I AM RUNNING THE ORIGINAL MTW BUT WITH THE VIKING INVASION EXPANSION. WHEN I CLICK END YEAR THE SEQUENCE STARTS, FREEZES AND THEN CRASHES CLOSING THE GAME.

HELP ME! I'M HAVING WITHDRAWAL SIMPTOMS AS THE GAME CANNOT ADVANCE

do you have any of the patches?

I had a similier prob (i think). Try doing things differently in the year it seemed to work once for me.
