Siege Construction: What are the details?
Are all sappers created equal? Are number of troops that can sap and the extent of city defenses the only factors in determining what your troops can build?
If so, then a big stack of peasants would be very useful for building one of those mounds that allow your troops to go over a heavy fortification.

hmm Can you explain more about sap thing, I'm not familiar with it, and did not have time to try it yet.

On a side note, I was wondering if it was possible to send additional units up your siege towers after they have reached the wall, so that you could keep funneling light infantry onto the walls and take all their towers. ~:)

Better ask somebody who knows what he's talking about, Lonewarrior. All I know is that some unit descriptions say, "Can sap," which I presume to mean that they are the only ones that count toward making rams, towers, etc.

Click on the top of the wall and the infantry run up the siege tower to get there....
One thing that I don't like is how building a tiny wooden siege tower for the stone wall and building an IMMENSE IRON PLATED one for the epic stone wall costs the same build points. What's the point in building epic stone walls then? Something that needs to fixed in a patch imo.

Nope, it just mean they are able to use the sap during an assault. Most troops will do (I dig with hoplites ^^), so no need to bring peasants.
