Hey the comp is cheating !!!!

The comp has army stacks that are over 20 units and I ca'nt do the same. I noticed in preferences you can turn off unlimited army sizes and was tempted to change this. Maybe I'll try for this next time I start the game up and hopefully the game does'nt check for this evrytime at startup. Where it is really anoying is on a siege you try to park that extra stack right next to your general and always they come from a mile away.

I think it would be real nice if you can have your reenforcements right in your general's stack. And hey if the comp's doing it I want to tooooooooo!!!!!!!!!

I think it was originally planned this way but they took this feature out just so they could throw it in with the expansion pack ......

But they're busted they forgot to take away the comps ability to do this so it's obvious ...... I want this feature and I want it now

Just loaded RTW up and made unlimited armies true unfortanetely the game deleted that and made it say false again I'm hoping a modder cracks this it is so annoying trying to transfer units so you can make them full then marching your army

Yes, I noticed this as well...not a pleasant surprise on very hard when facing a real AI general (one with a few stars.)

Are you sure? I thought so at first before I noticed that each line on the AI's army screen only contains 9 boxes. If you left click on their army, you could count how many there are per line. I was surprised at first when I saw three lines but I later realized it was just 20.

The AI cheats in alot of ways, i got nicomedia which had 500 peasants next turn the greeks attack it and get it from me, next turn i come back and attack them and win, when i checked the city it now had a pop of 2600 hehe

You are right Andrew I just went with the assumption the comps display box was 10 wide just the same as the humans so when I saw those extra slots for scroll down I thought they had 22 units when it is really only 20

What campaign difficulty are you playing on???

It is just possible that after successfully taking the town from you, the Greeks also took a town/city from someone else and did an enslave population thing and added to the popuation of the town they had just taken from you (was their force commanded by a general??).

Unlikely, but possible....
