long grass ?

Well, whos been smoking all the long grass ? How can I hide my skirmishers in it ? I was really looking forward to this. Forests are so ... obvious.


Or am I missing something ? ~:confused:

I didn´t expect any long grass in Roman provinces, they got slaves to keep it short..., but the Barbarian north should have some...

(Looking at the possible battlefield in single player battle mode, you will find that there is at least one map - so I remember, showing long grass, and I think it was in the north, propably Brittania).

i actually hit some in the Egyptian provinces (well, they were wheat fields..)

And couldyou hide your Skirmishers in the wheat ?

I was looking at the custom battle maps and didnt find any there. Looks like the unit ability "hide in grass" hasnt been implemented yet. I wish the landscape had a bit more vegetation and those trees are a BIT tall, aren't they ?

I have seen wheat and could not hide in it. There is long grass on some maps, do you mean really long? What I have seen so far would not really hide you

well, many units have the specialy ability "hide in long grass". Only there is no long grass to be found, or at least I dont know how to hide in the grass I see :)
