so I went to a nice Japanese website to order a Japanese teapot (forget the model, think it was like Kyushu or something like that) and had to go through a ton of trouble - downloading Japanese fonts, getting somebody to read the thing and translate, and then getting the right credit card to purchase one. It came just in time for christmas (for girlfriend) but the damndest thing is, despite look & feel of Japan, with all sorts of "authentic" stuff, the sticker said (in English) that it was made in India.
