Adonys over at TWC has discovered the exact location of the individual unit speeds in the skeleton/animation files.

Edit: I assume that we can find therein the way to reduce attack speed through the animation.
I noticed the connection myself.There are files in the folder data/animations which I beleive contain the cas files referred to in descr_skeletons.Due to my limited technical abillity I cant open these files.
The one of most interest is a dat file named pack and at 8mb probably contains a lot of useful information.Hopefully someone out there knows how to open it.
