This is a mystery...

So i have been playing rome since the day it came out here in the states.. At first i couldnt get it working because i had to get the drivers dowloaded. Did that and havnt left my computer since. All the sudden tonite everytime i load a saved game, or any game for that matter, rtw crashes to desktop. Now im not saying this is a bug, this ISNT the devs fault, im not flaming. I know this because its been running excellent for weeks.

Does anyone have any ideas why its crashing all the sudden? Its not my drivers, they are updated. The computer rome is on isnt connected to the internet.. hmm I cant figure it out..

you might have run out of memerory (have you installe dany big files lately)

Virus?

i could be lack of memmory i dont think virus will make game crash (usaly virus look for curtin files and if there transmits them to anouther computer)

hmmm - could it be a corrupted save game? I remember even in the final MTW version you couldn't save over old files for some reason or it would CTD after loading those saved ones..... but I haven't found any exact formulas for having a corrupt save file - in fact this is the first (possible) corrupt save file I have heard about
