'Lost Income'

Hi there everyone, it has been a while since I was actually able to drag myself kicking and screaming from this horrifyingly addictive game.

I got the game at about 12 from the postman and them somehow someone stole about 8 hours of my life. Seriously, the next thing I remeber is my mate calling at 8:00 that evening and asking where I was. I hadn't moved, eaten or even drank anything for that whole time. I had lost the feeling in my legs due to the lack of movement... I sign of addiction or a sign of how good the game is? |I'll leave that one for you to decide.

Now I had a look for this but no one seems to have posted anything about it, there have been studies on corruption and on civil unrest but nothing about this fabled 'lost income'. Victoria says that pulsing symbols as lost income but no indication of what this means, or how to stop it. I have simply no clue.

Does anyone have a better idea than me about what it is?

It has already been confirmed as a bug. So you can say it is broke; so don't worry about it until patch 1.2
