Re: Outlawed by the senate
They will ask every single turn until your whole family is dead and your faction thus under the direct control of the Senate.
You are so powerful they fear you. This is the civil war, it's what you've been building towards. Crush the fools and claim your prize as Imperator of Rome!
Re: Outlawed by the senate
Typical that as soon as you get that powerful the Senate fear you and want you dead. I say march on Rome and kick the idle lard arses out! :duel:

Protect The Republic At All Cost!!!
Don't March To Rome, And Don't Kill Your Leader, Wait Till Something Happens (an Attack By Another Roman Faction) And Then You'll Have A Reason For Marching To Rome.

The people of Rome doesn't seem to mind that I overthrew the senate... :D
Re: Outlawed by the senate
BOSWELL. I see your money problem. Your capital is at the edge of the empire I assume. From the sounds of it if you moved your capital to marbo martius or somewhere near there you will probably be raking in the dough. This will greatly reduce that negative corruption income as corruption gets worse the further your capital is. So the more provinces you can have near your capital the more money you will make
Re: Outlawed by the senate
I attacked rome after a couple of victorious battles with Brutii, they attacked me. This was while I mustered an Army back towards Rome, took a while as they were all in the north, east or in north Africa. Money problem is now sorted as I have over 50,000 dinari extra each turn coming in. It was a great battle, I was attacked by an equal in size SPQR army on my way to Rome, won that with small loses, amy went down to 950 or so, then while I had Rome under siege they attacked, one army was 1,500+ and the other about 350.
Managed to destroy the smaller force first as the larger army decided to just use veletites so I kept them at bay with my heavy cavelry. It was close for a while, but as they say the rest was History.
How long do I have to keep rome, or do i now need to have 50 provinces under my control, have 34 at the mo?

Should I have accepted this request? It was either the next turn or the one prior that my leader died of natural causes. i'll have to check...
I had this same sequence last night. But, I was already building my Rome Attack army and was only a few turns away from the SPQR capital. So, when the suicide request and then outlawing came about it only took a few turns to build siege engines and eliminate SPQR. Brutii fell after a few more turns and now Scipii is begging for mercy in North Africa.
It'll be over soon.
Re: Outlawed by the senate
im already preparing for the attack of rome, i just need the plebs to love me a little more and someone to fight against for those extra territories.
Re: Outlawed by the senate
Rome will attack you when you seige it, this causes a sally and means that you can win that battle and not have to play out the seige :)
Re: Outlawed by the senate
I didn't know that. Next game I'll not waste my time building siege engines. Just go up knock on their door and wait for them to come out and play.
