Switching faction in mid turn...possible?

In MTW I belive you could by typing in a command. Can you do this to switch faction in the midst of a campaign from the camp map? If so can u only do it once per turn or can u switch constanatly?

Also I forgot what the file is called to unlock factions. I forgot to make rebels playable.

data\world\maps\campaign\imperial_campaign\descr_strat.txt

This file should be what you need to make any factions playable.


Not sure about switching factions like MTW. You may have to edit the savegame file as well as some txt files in the campaign folder. Very crash prone, methinks.
