Hello:
I know some fractions belong to the same culture group. There is no cultural penalty when occupying a settlement that belongs to the same culture. For example:
Group 1: Romans (Senate, Julii, Brutii & Scipii)
Group 2: Greeks (The Greek citieis, Macedon)
I wonder are there any other groups that are compatible with each other? If you know any please list below. Thank you very much.

Group 2: Greeks (Greek Cities, Macedon, the Seleucid Empire, Thrace)
Group 3: Barbarians (Scythians, Spanish, Britons, Germans, Gauls)
Group 4: Egyptians (Hmmm, wonder who'd be in this group?)
Group 5: Carthage (Numidians, Carthage)
Group 6: Easterners (Pontus, Parthians, Armenians)
This is what I was looking for before to control one of each of teh culteral diff factions. very nice ~:cheers:
Zeth am I seeing things or do I only count 19 factions u listed? That leaves one out
The missing faction is small Dacia, which I believe are barbarians.

Dont forget to take into account that if you take a Greek city with roman buildings you'll take a culture hit anyway.
