Has anybody else seen the strange Gloss files in the tga.dds areas? If so, does anybody know if they are actually essential or if they were just put in and then found not to be needed?

Has anybody else seen the strange Gloss files in the tga.dds areas? If so, does anybody know if they are actually essential or if they were just put in and then found not to be needed?
There is a option in the Graphics menu where you can say wether you want reflection. When you open a gloss file you will see that they correspond with the metal parts of the normal skin. Someone at TWC made more gloss skins and the models look far more realistic with the metal parts reflecting light better (or something like that). I haven't dived into it really, but they are working and IMO worth going after if your system specs are up to it.
