a little colosseum story

once upon a time, a secretive cabal of plotters known as the ORG were on the way to the Colosseum. They were going there to gain insight from a sage known as CA. Along the way they were ambushed by a dreadful 100 headed monster known as RTW. They then began to talk amongst themselves about how to defeat this multiple headed monster, because every time they slew a head, 2 more would grow in its place.

Tamur: Why don't we just bribe it, or make it a protectorate?

Siris: Forget that, all we need are my Spartan Hoplites. If only i could build them in every city, in fact it'd be best if that was the only unit i could build.

Didz: if only we had a workable strategy guide other than that crappy one our ex-teacher Prima gave to us.

Red Harvest: it doesn't matter what types of armies this RTW sends against us, they're all too easy to beat anyway, c'mon CA, is this all you've got"

Medieval Assasin: if i hear one of you bad-mouth RTW one more time, i swear i'll show you the meaning of medieval.

newbie: this reminds me of this one time i had 100 men and was being besieged by like 50,000 gauls and i killed 49,872 of them with a heroic victory. i know what i just said had nothing to do with the topic but i just had to let the rest of you know about my heroic victory.

Siris: hey newbie, did you use Spartan Hoplites?

Jerome: hey fellas, I'm CA's assistant, kinda like a fairy godmother for you. CA's taken a vow of silence you see, but i'll try to help you out when i can.

CA, pondering to himself, looks disdainfully down on Jerome [rookie, thinks he can please that crowd? give 'em the moon and they'll insult you for not giving them the rest of the solar system, they should be estatic that the moon is luminescent, what does it matter that the moon doesn't produce the luminescene itself, but is rather just a reflection?]

obviously this was done tongue in cheek. i only picked on people that i thought had shown a sense of humor and not taking themselves too seriously in their postings. but if anyone is really upset by this, the mods can shut this down. otherwise, post your 1 to 2 line statement that can immediatly identify another colosseum patron.
