Climate effects
I am a tad confused here. If one looks at the unit description file, here's what you get for climate effects for bedouin warriors:
heat: -2 (what??? aren't bedouins desert warriors, so the effect of heat should be positive)
scrub: 0
forest: 2 (what??? aren't bedouins cavalry, so they should suffer in forest)
sand: -6 (what??? same comment as for heat)
snow: -2 (ok)
if one looks at these files closer, there are other surprises there: like, barbarian mercenaries getting a hit in the forest; basically, all african cavalry taking a combat hit in heat while armored legionnary cavalry is actually getting a bonus (+4); light auxillia not getting any bonus versus cavalry and camels (while they get +6 versus chariots and elephants...).
looking at these stats and comparing them to unit description makes me wonder whether they are not messed up in this version of RTW. or did i do something wrong?

Re: Climate effects
Heat -2 I think that means the heat penalty is reduced by 2.
My guess you had opposite thoughts and negative is actually good and positive is bad. Just my guess as I'm not familiar with the files

Re: Climate effects
Well, I was considering the possibility of "negative" being "good": but, then, it appears to be inconsistent across climate varieties: i.e., the snow effect is negative for camels. Why would anyone consider "snow" being "good" for desert warriors?

Re: Climate effects
Stamina works backwards (bug), but I don't know how heat works.

Re: Climate effects
We badly need a patch, maybe somone would put up a forum of listed things to be changed........... maybe CA should look into the players opinions and give some thought............
