All of my city suffers from heavy "squalor".
A) my english isn't very good, can someone give me a definition?
B) how do I handle this?! on some city it reduces public order by 100+ precents!!!

Need to work on Public Health, ie like Sewers, Public Baths, etc. Some retinues can reduce this if you are lucky enough to find it.
My spies usually look out for some generals/governors that has nice retinues then i bribe them to steal the skills.

Bath and health building don't really help with squalor ...
Hmm then what does?
Perhap the water hoses can keep up the mess after the rats!
Check this thread: squalor investigation
Squalor increases with population. The only buildings that directly impact squalor are the city govt/town hall upgrade levels (as you can see in the population chart.) Other buildings like public baths and sewers do not impact squalor, although they do give a public order bonus (which is useful.) This is contrary to what the in game help suggests.
Why roads, improved walls, public health buildings and the like don't reduce squalor is beyond me.
If you have the cheat unlocker then use .... "-" in front of add_population "City" -500 to take people away ='s no squalor (not sure if you can take people away with out the unlocker) :charge:
yes you can use it, just remember that if you want to use it more than once you will have to close the game down first.Quote:

the quickest way to do this is to press Alt + Tab then Ctrl + Alt + Del and close Rome.exe in the Windows Task Manager, then just start the game again as normal.
If I'm right I thought I had heard that -80 percent is the max for the squalor public order penalty.Quote:

Actually it's 125%. There is no limit the the growth rate penalty due to squalor.Quote:
