Heaviest Band

My Heaviest Band:

-Soulfly, or Sepultura with Max Cavalera. Just so freakin' intensely, painfully loud.

Well, if we're talking about the loudest band ever, I believe the record is held by Motorhead. It was held for a period by Deep Purple too, as well as Man o' War.

I think that´s impossible to answer. Some bands like Marduk, Destroyer 666 or the German Belphegor are such extreme that you can´t really distinguish which is more extreme.

I just listened to some marduk, not bad.

heaviest band in my "favourites" has to be Kyuss.........C to C tunning baby!!! ~D

Its not quite the question asked but IMHO Slayer are about the heaviest band that is still recognisably music.

Depends what you call heavy though.

Slayer, Pantera, stampin ground, static x as well. Far to many bands to mention i think.

Good heavy brits bands raging speedhorn and sikth, the latter especially ~D
