Hi there,

I would like to know wether it would be possible to make a mod where you could actually fight naval battles yourself. The results i get from autocalc are disappointing most of the time & outrageous sometimes.

I was thinking about making this mod with an external game engine (Torque), starting with an open sea battleground & featuring the 8 different types of ships that are currently featured in the game. This to keep the modelling limited in the first stage. Battles would be fought using arrow fire to decimate enemy sailors and on-board ballistas & rams to sink other ships.

Biggest problem would be for RTW to send the starting data to Torque & get results back.

Does anybody know wether this would be possible? I'd like to know before I get on with this idea.
