Changing number of soldiers?

I'm completely new to these forums but I love the game as strategy is my passion and I want to enhance the game in any way I can.

I was wondering how to change the number of soldiers in each unit. The battles always seem a little to much like skirmishes so I wanted to give them a more epic feeling. Considering how new I am to this any 'good samaritans' kind enough to help me out would probably need to show me step by step.

I really appreciate any help!

What you have to do is go to Options and change the Unit Size. You have yo pu t the options in Advanced Format first though. I hope I helped.
