I saw it on the BBC northwest news, you can buy bottled air from the Lake district.
I also found it on the BBC website:

So what? Do you breath it and get what?
I doubt it's bottled. It's probably in a pressurized capsule.
There's air bars for this kind of thing.
It was in a bottle. The presentor was standing there with a bottle saying "Lakeland Air" and people in a city where smelling it to see if if was fresh. There was a man bottling it!
Its supposed to remind you of the Lake District, becuase it was bottled there.
and people buy this?
there“s a sucker born every minute :dizzy2:
It is on ebay.
I can't find it though.
In the US there are some things known as 'Oxygen Bars' where you can breath pure (or at least a higher percentage of) oxygen.
I'm thinking I should open one of those near the hippy college in Bellingham. I'd also sell organic coffee and bagels.

They sell bottled air in mexico city and have been doing so for years. And there it's not because of a fad it's because the air quality there is so poor. I'm going to start selling canned steam.
I think one of the bars in my town sells oxygen things.Quote:

Bottled air? Even in the worst environments(mex city) a bottle would be a waste. YOu need a semi full of O2 at 20 atms to be useful, and then I would suggest that you release it only in a more or less airtight building.
It comes to new lows when capitalists will bottle the air you breath and use it to steal from us.
yeah, someday they might to the same to the land we walk on and the water we drink...
Not from us, but from people dumb enough to think they are actaully buying something. Conclusion: school systems in the UK(and US for that matter) need to enourage critaical thinking more.Quote:

oh, and about being dumb enough to do that: well, there's more to it than just being dumb. That's part of it, I agree. But there's more. Even if you didn't want to buy to being with, you may end up buying it anyway because of several factors put together: aggressive marketing and advertising, all sorts of social pressure (your wife/husband/mother/father/friends/neighbors/whatever think "it's good for you", and "Just _HOW_ can you still drink that filthy horrible tap water ?!? We buy bottled water, you should do the same ..."), and I could go on... but what's the point ?
they should make sex in a bottle
O2 creates free radicals and therefore increases aging, higher risk of cancer etc. Also breathing pure oxygen for long enough makes you mad and stuff. Great fun.Quote:

1. Oxygen bar = freaking ridiculous. Standing around Trees, plants, shrubs, and grass in the morning = free.
2. Radicals doesn't have to be just from O2. Radicals are highly reactive though. In fact, they cause the same reactions that destroy the Ozone. Yep, a single molecule of CFC (chlorofluorocarbons) radical can react thousands of O3 molecules, because the reaction is propagated continuosly.
Antioxidants halt this propagation step. Wine, Pomegranate juice, and I think olives and apples too have alot of antioxidants. Look at the Italians and Greeks, they drink lots of wine, that's why they have a lot of old people. ~:)
Your body will try to maintain itself (by repair and replenishment of cells). When your body start losing this ability, then that's called "aging". One way to slow aging is through antioxidants.
ha ha ha, can you imagine JAG's fury when the capitalists start selling sex. Oh, wait, they did.Quote:
