The rebels
I'm starting to get sick of all these annoying 1-2 rebel unit-armies, that appears all too often. These battles are often sensless as you know you will leave the battlefield with a crushing victory, but still you rather play them than to auto-calculate them just to find out that your best general was killed.
So I was wondering if the rebels really do any damage to the province they are in? like lower income or something.
And why do the rebels appear? Does it have anything to do with the public order? Is there anyway to stop them for coming?

Re: The rebels
You see that black stain spreading across your land beneath the rebels?
That's devastation. If you look at your city's economic status you will see what it is costing you.

Re: The rebels
If you look at city details it says devastation, that is the amount they reduced the income. It only shows up if there was devastation done either by an enemy army or rebels.
As far as the amount of damage they can do. If it's farmland they take a big chunk out of your income. If it's a road it takes a decent chunk out. If it's the wilderness they are nor really worth going out of the way for as the reduction of income is usually less than 50. Once rebels have done the max amount of devastation they look for a new area to move onto wich always results in them moving either to a road or farmland.
