Problems with RTR 4.1 and the "no new buildings" file...

I played a "provincial campaign" on the RTR 3.2 mod at first. Then i overwrote the 3.2 with the 4.1. The game still worked fine and I was able to cotinue my provincial campaign. But then i saw the "no new buildings" file and decided to try it.

This is where all the trouble starts. The game starts normally but when i try to load a game (wich worked without the nnb file) the game crashes. When i try to start a new game, after selecting faction and i press the arrow wich willl start the game it jumps back to the previous menu. It does not help to remove the nnb file and replace it with the original one.

Has anyone the slightest idea what the source of this problem can be?
