I was just wondering, will you have different colors for the Roman factions like in the original game? If not, how will you be able to discern them?
Also, historically, what was the difference in appearance between different Roman factions? Different shield ornaments? Different banners?
Different legions had different shield designs, as far as I can remember. I don't think it's very accurate the way it is, but there's not much EB can do about that, as it will just make everything more confusing.
More confusing = more realistic ;)
I wouldn't mind having to look for differences in shield designs or banners to be eble to find my cohorts.
Originally was white and red , but red dominated since blended well with blood colour and looked still cleaner than a white robe , about the other colors like blue and green seems where actually used too , but definetly the red was dominant..... anyway i kept the original colour distinction but with darker tones....
