I am really disappointed for RTR 5.0, there are no relevant notices apart from the extension of the map. I also found some bugs during the battle time. For instance I gave order to my legionaries to attack the enemy behind my soldiers' lines and instead they kept going forward!!
Really disgusting. I hope the 6.0 will be better!!! ~:confused:
This bug is not related to RTR. I had it happening with vanilla version.
Personally, I like RTR 5.0 much more than previous versions.

So an extention of the map, new skins, reword unit stat's, united rome, and several other's that i'm sure I would find in the readme.txt aren't enough for you?
Hmm, well I sugest you either;
A, post on they're forum's and offer helpful advice and thing's you'll like to see included in they're next patch.
B, Lead the search parry for G.J, as far as i'm aware hes still awol,T-man headed up this release didn't he?
C, Play some of ninjacool's intergreated Historical battles, for O yay he did give onto them, and O yay we did reap our bounty.
D, Waith untill one of the many other mod's are released, maybe you'll find some joy in they're bounty.

You don't have to apologize. I am sorry for the verb suck, I was only a bit angry with the fact that I came across some problems with RTR 5.0. Anyway it doesn't seem that Roman armies have changed their skins. They're pretty much the same of version 4.0.Anyway I like mods, and many of new projects are going to be superb. I am also a great supporter of Rome Total Realism 4.0!! Maybe I had just demanded too much from the version 5.0!!! ~:) :balloon2:

in my opinion the bottom line is that rtr 3 or 4 or 5 are better then the original game
the skins , the map , the economic , everything
there is a problem - bugs , but the intention is good , the moders are trying to stay close to history , hi thats importent isn't it ??

I like RTR 5.0, but I also have a couple of minor gripes:
There seems to be a problem with phalanx units set to huge, they hold their formation when they make contact with the enemy, but they hold it TOO well, if only a corner of the unit makes contact, then only that part of the unit will fight, all the other men in the unit will just stand there watching their comrades die.. The unit will not move to make full contact and the result is lots of micro-management of phalanx units in battle to get them lined up properly. I'm sure this did'nt happen in the vanilla version but I could be wrong.
Also, whats with the unit cards? Why cant we have some pictures of the new units there instead of the usual peasants?
