and diplomacy?
Hey everybody,
long time player of STW and MTW, huge fan of RTW, decided to make a first post due to the current excitement regarding the patch and its readme, and a burning question it left me with after going through the readme twice. (Which has me drooling btw. :party2: )
What fixes, other then the bribing, protectorate and subterfuge fixes, can we expect in our dealings with other factions? I mean diplomacy AI could use some general fixes just like the battle AI etc.
just wondering, perhaps its part of the ´other fixes´ not mentioned explicitly.

Re: and diplomacy?
Welcome to the Org, parcelt. ~
I'm not sure if any CA staff member, or patch tester, has told us anything more than is in the readme about the changes to the diplomacy engine.

Re: and diplomacy?
We're eagerly awaiting the answer to that question, parcelt! Rest assured, all solid diplomacy news will be gobbled up and quickly sent to the intestines to simmer away ~:) That said, I probably don't trawl the boards as much as I ought so there may be info hiding somewhere.

Re: and diplomacy?
I wish diplomacy would be worth more than it is now, but I wouldn't be too excited, too much fixing for one patch. But hope dies last! *crosses fingers*

Re: and diplomacy?
I already said it in the patch's readme thread : I hope there was some massive changes in the diplomacy, making it worth something. I'd rather have a possible exploit on diplomacy (that I can prevent from using) than a worthless diplomacy (that removes a lot of interest of the game).

Re: and diplomacy?
yeah just like in mtw retreat from my borders and such stuff
though give me that region is also cool specialy when you have a lot of money and just give them 300,000 for 1 turn they will accept and then
close the deal a region gain no money lost
