Just thought everybody would want to know that Rome won that award. Even with all of the problems Rome is a great game in my opinion.

Yes, and RTW was not among the top 5 games of 2004 for any of the CGW editorial staff. Their review, while good in the rating number (4.5 out of 5), seemed to focus an usually large section of the review on where the game came up short from being outstanding.Quote:

..oh well... its kinda hard to pickup sarcasm in typing
Warhammer, BFME, Full Spectrum Warrior and I believe a few others came out. Rome is a good game despite the problems, hopefully 1.2 will fix a good deal of them. Seeing as it is 56mbs and I cannot dl it at home due to the length I have to go to a friend's to dl it. Hope it is worth it.
