Post-patch Roman A.I (non)Empire
Has anybody else noticed this? Post patch, the Romans (especially since they don't have the benefit of the reforms so early) really have a hard time of it in the early stages (this is M-M with the only mod being +6 to all morale).
In my new British campaign, the Brutii have been kicked off the greek mainland by a resurgent Greece, and the Scipii have not crushed Carthage, and it it 227 B.C. Will be interesting to see what happens after 220B.C.
Anyone else noticed this? :book:
Re: Post-patch Roman A.I (non)Empire
Playing as the Scipii, I noticed that the Brutii took until about 230BC to take most of Greece, and the Julii just failed to take anything beyond the alps.
In the meantime I had annexed most of Africa, Egypt and Scily.

Being devout in my loathing of all things roman, lets not forget the carthaginians kicked their butts on one or two occasions ~;) In fact, (& correct me if I'm wrong), didn't Capua actually go over to the Carthaginians after the battle of Cannae?

Carthage would have conquered rome, if the Carthaginian senate didn't thought they were invinceble and just send Hannibal the money and soldiers he needed for the conquest of Rome.
