How can you change rivers in the Battle Editor?
I loaded a maptile that has a river. Then I edited the height of some tiles to make the river more free flowing instead of the straight line. However when I view the map in a battle the surface of the water is not the same as the original river; it is flickering and is missing the moving water texture. This effects remains even reloading and saving the map.
Does anyone have any luck with changing the course of a river and keeping the watertexture on all water surfaces?

I had a look at it and see what you mean. Seems like the way rivers are animated is sort of hardcoded. If only there was a way to stop the flashing of the water texture it would still look decent.
